Neighborhoods for Trick-or-Treating
Barrigada Heights
Barrigada Heights is one of Guam's top Halloween trick-or-treating spots! The streets come alive with house parties, elaborate decor and loads of trick-or-treaters. Start at Azucena Street and work your way uphill to Lirio and South Sabana, just past the Lila Loop cul-de-sac.
Tip: Parking is tight, so if you can't find a spot within the neighborhood, head to North Sabana for overflow parking. We recommend comfy shoes — the uphill walk is no joke!
Paradise Estates
Paradise Estates in Dededo is another Halloween hotspot! This gated community goes all out with spooky decor, lively parties and tons of trick-or-treaters filling the streets. While it's usually gated, the community opens up to the public on Halloween from 5-8 p.m., allowing everyone to walk in a join the fun. However, only those who know residents can bring their cars inside the gate, so plan to park outside and walk in.
Quick Tips for Trick-or-Treating in Village Neighborhoods
- Get there early to secure parking
- Don't block driveways or park on lawns — remember to respect the neighborhood
- Use sidewalks and avoid cutting through yards unless it's clearly okay
- Bring glow sticks or flashlights for safety
- Be mindful of noise, especially later in the evening
